Our
school Sagrado Corazón Carmelitas was
founded in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz
in 1894 with a clear objective, namely, to respond to a social need: the
academic and moral education of girls. Since then, more than a century later,
the raison d’être of our organisation still lies in a determination to
continue serving society and a response to those needs not provided for by our
government institutions. Today, our School materialises its aims in providing
the least fortunate members of our society with care and attention, allowing
them to integrate fully and by training new generations of young people to
participate responsibly in society.
