Process management

Today, the Quality Project, which began in the year 2000 with training in the EFQM Management System, affects all school activities and every member of staff. It is a management model that seeks excellence, involving everyone in a culture of continuous improvement.

In 2005, following its assessment of our School, Euskalit (Basque Foundation for quality) awarded us its Silver Q. In its overview, the Assessment Team highlighted the following aspects:

• The high degree of commitment among staff to the values of this School.
• The great spirit of innovation, especially in the technological and methodological development of the teaching-learning process and in anticipating the needs of society.
• The high level of involvement of personnel interviewed during the assessment process, who consider the Excellence Model to be a fundamental aspect of the future strategy of this School.

We wish to pay tribute to the efforts of all those involved and the results obtained, and highlight their capacity for work, reflection and changes perceived over recent years.

In 2007, following a further external assessment, the Basque Government has awarded the School with the Basque Gold Q Award for Management Quality, the highest award for excellence granted by this entity to organisations.

For this School, these awards represent the recognition of all the work we have done in recent years. They provide us with the assurance that we are on the right road and encourage us to continue working in the same line.
